Decceleration Poisioning

Well, I hope my friends got a good look at my car during their visit because it is likely the last time they will see it. Yes, friends, I was involved in a car accident yesterday. Just to get it out of the way... yes, I am fine. The driver of the other car is fine. The accident didn't turn into a multi-car pile up.

Sinister turn of fate )

Glad to hear that things are working out as well as they are. Friends with spare cars are a wonderful thing!

Wow, Fish, I'm glad you're OK. Sounds like something you really didn't need in your day yesterday. I totally sympathize with the moment when the police drive off and you're standing there, alone, with an inoperable vehicle, going, "Um, hello?" Been there, done that, in the pre-cell-phone era, no less.

Glad to hear you're OK--and I'm sorry we didn't get home in time to pick you up.

It's all good. I think of it this way: Were you around when I called, I would never have stumbled across the opportunity for an immediate loaner vehicle.

Yikes!

VERY glad to hear the "I'm okay; things will be okay" news, but very sorry at Gypsy's demise. She was a fine vehicle indeed.

Also glad to hear of helpful pals.

Take care, okay?

Oh my. That sounds all sorts of crazy fortunate and unfortunate all at once. Like that "Fortunately" book. I think in theory the next thing that happens is that you fall out of an airplane and land in a haystack, if I'm not mistaken.
