For some reason I loved gummi bears with a tremendous passion from 1999 to early 2001. It started when I discovered a big bag was only 99 cents at the local cumberland farms gas station. These little bears would get me through the afternoon, and since I was poor slash cheap I didnt have to blow a lot of money. Nobody gave me shit about eating so many because I was so skinny anyways. The trend continued when I reached MassArt. Thanks to the nifty meal plan I could get a paper bag full when ever my heart desired. My freshman fifteen was actually thirty. Like Sam Cooke said a change is gonna come. I said fare well to eating candy and vowed to stick with it come next september. September is the real time to make resolutions because the holiday onslaught comes right after. I've stuck to my guns about sugar too. I will only eat it in rich desserts now, I don't miss it. As cute as the bears were I don't miss them, that time in my life is over.
