This Weekend
The weekend was fun and relaxing. Friday we went to the Ranger's game, they lost but played well. I got to talk to Keri and Gary for a bit and gloat about how nice the weather was. They were suppose to go to the Tiger's game but it downpoured and they ended up leaving because it was on rain delay for 3 + hours. The game finally started at 11pm and played till 3:30am!!! It went 11 innings!! Wow. Our game was pretty fast and I think was under 3 hours.
When we got home I went dumpster diving and found a desk someone was throwing out. It is just one of those shitty desks you buy at walmart but it does serve its purpose well. Before I had my laptop on Brandon's desk but we both could not use the computers at once. Now I have my own desk and it is awesome. We even had an extra office chair so I have my own chair too!!
Saturday we went and looked at some houses out in Josephine and Nevada and just drove around exploring Texas. We are thinking of building a house instead of buying an existing home. This way we can build what we want instead of compromising. While we were exploring Brandon hit a bird and left it in the road flopping around dying. It was a sad day for Mr. Birdy. Then we went to Paesano's for dinner. It is a very gross Italian restaurant. Well the spaghetti sauce is good because it is made with fresh tomatoes, but I got Cantalloni (sp??) and it tasted very sweat like cereal. It was not good at all. I may go back and try their chicken parmasean. Even Brandon tried it my dish and said it was gross and he will eat almost anything.
Today we just sat around and watched movies and relaxed. It was nice. I do miss Chris though. He was one of my few friends here in Texas and he decided he hated it here and went back to the New England area. I hope to go visit him soon. He was always fun to hang out with and go and do random things.
I want to go to Dave and Busters soon and also the Zoo here in Dallas.
