Fests &/ comms of podficcery and happiness
Because if I post this, I can close a bunch of tabs and that will make me feel productive. This was going to be longer and I was going to talk about my opinions on podficcery and the reading thereof and why I consider fic having been read aloud an act of performance and creation, et cetera, et cetera. But then I realised that if I waited to post until I wrote that up, these announcements would all be old news. And thus, comms which are relevant to my interests and thus which might be relevant to yours:

paraka is running a podfic remixing fest at
podremix // podremix, where previously podficced fic will be podficced by another reader-- because every reader will approach a text differently and thus, yay and good times. (ETA: *facepalm* now correctly spelt.)
(2.)
deltacephei has put together
podficpool // podficpool which is for posting podfic recs and for posting podfic searches which can't be answered by [the search function at the archive].
(3.) bringthehappy is running another fest this year, check out [ the most recent post at bringthehappy] for the tentative dates and links to the masterposts from the past two years.
