a recs post and thoughts on amplificathon...
[ A new rec set is up]. It has the recs I made for my OTW fundraising drive, the Icelandic Saga/Star Wars fusion rec from the other day, and three rec posts which I made ages and ages ago on my LJ but which I have only just now actually crossposted to fish-recs.
In completely unrelated news, amplificathon//
amplificathon is about to start and I'm seriously debating actually recording podfic. My main concern at the moment is that I would lose the ability to disavow the link between my fannish identity and my offline identity. But it's not like recording podfic is the same as sending an email to my work and my family and my friends who think fandom is weird and scary and everyone else in the world saying 'Oh by the way, I'm an active participant in fandom and here's how to find my journal!' So anyway, that's something I'm thinking on. Thoughts are welcome.
