(no subject)
wow. my weekend was so nice that i have already put in to get more days off for the 4rth.
it was my 3 days to play girlfriend. meaning meet mike's peeps and do his thing. i did make my own plans, but my sunday ones blew out so i stayed in SD an extra day.
all attempts to avoid holiday traffic were nullified saturday afternoon. Skip back to thursday when presoctt got stung by a bee in the face and he was swollen. 3 hours at the vet on friday he was a little better. i wanted to mkae sure saturday that he was fine before i left for the weekend. thus me on the 91 at 12:30. bad mistake. my only consolation was a 350z "Ownz u" guy that was playing traffic tetris with me. i won, heh.
after my hair cut i went to meet up with Mike and meet some of his surfing buds. they were playing texas holdem and drinking. i didnt want to put up $20 so i just watched for a bit. we went to Kelcey's bday party at the ragweed casa. it was more quiet than usual but i got to see some SOE people I havent seen in a bit. It was nice.
Sunday I had brunch with some friends at Park House while Mike went surfing. That place had some good stuff. Tomoko was there and oddly enough she lives about 2 blocks N of me now. So I promised we would hang out more. That afternoon I caught up with Mike and his coworkers in PB. It was pretty packed like the 4rth. Now I know where all the canned light american beer is consumed...at the beach. i think i had all in all about 12 coors lights over the weekend.
In the evening we went to a party of Mike's friend. I got a little annoyed because I was hungry and saw no food or drinkage. So I left for a bit, came back with some food and beverage (Stellas this time) and all was well. This is where I am not so good at the girlfriend role. I can't just stand there and be cute. I have to walk around and if that means alone, I do so. It worked out ok, I met alot of Mike's friends. Hes got a wide range of them too.
Monday was back at PB on the baordwalk.Even more people and that day had sun. I got a little brown and somehow brokemy top. How this happened I dont know becuase my chest isn't bustable. I caught it in time but it was the only drama in the day for me.
