Ms Plum was put to sleep today.
I was a little miffed becuase I didn't get to say goodbye and when I gave her a cookie thismorning I didnt know it would be my last time seeing her, but all in all I'll just miss her.
She was my aunt's dog, sorta mine when she was in Japan for 3 years and I watched the dog. Anyway Plum was a part of my LA life, 14 years old. Followed me all the way through college, came to my apartment in Austin, and saw both my pads in San Diego.
Patricia took her in for a check up, she'd been favoring her left rear leg. We both expected shed be getting some shots and meds. However the vet said her hips were really bad and that she had been suffering. To me, Im not sure it was that bad becuase she'd still be wagging and sniffing away on walks. However he said if she were her dog he'd put her down, so my aunt did.
I'm gonna miss that furball of shedness.
