Project Runway - Pro Wrestlers Week (WWE)
Opening sequence: Ricky wonders why his win hasn't won him respect....maybe it's because his dress kinda sucked and he's kinda sucked for weeks.
Field Trip - of course, the girls wear heels to the work room and then complain. I mean really, if you can't walk outside a building in them...maybe you shouldn't sew 24 hours straight in them.
Rami's bitching already because it ISN'T fashion. To be fair he's not the only one complaining...although Chris's cat needs to realize her sprawling, meowing, posturing isn't going to work on him.
This isn't a challenge, it is a large plug for Blockbuster Total Access.
Early in they all look like they don't get it - except for Christian perhaps - Sweet P has picked 2 semi-identical glitter messes, Chris is doing...gasp...leopard print...and yes...Rami is draping.
I have to be honest here...I don't really CARE. I don't like this challenge, they don't like this challenge. I don't really even want to see the runway.
Christian quote: "Actually, in all honestly, I really didn't want to give them [snaps] to 'em. But, at the end of the day you help people, and their work still is not great." (speaking of Ricky)
Then they rename their WWE gals:
Sweet P - Spread Eagle
Chris - Wonder Woman
Christian - Ferocia Coutura
RUNWAY (oh, and Jillian is last one done AGAIN)
Christian - leather and lace...chaps cool, don't look wrestle-friendly. I think the biggest problem with it is that she looks like a stripper (fine line, I know). But it is ok.
Jillian - the top is fine but the short shorts are too short! and the leggings are unflattering to say the least. Girl next door tomboy MY ass! hate it.
Ricky - orange swimsuit with fishnet stockings. Leila walks like she is trying to throw her back out. the color sucks - note to self...orange with cheap gold clasps is a no-no.
Chris - better shorts, best boots, actually love the criss-cross top. she clearly loves it and so far, I like his the best.
Sweet P - has the poor "robe and reveal" - she could have used some color contrast. the feathers on the bottom of the robe makes it look lingerie.
Rami - he calls it a "tacky pink garment he had to make to please the client" which isn't true...she didn't ask for that pink...the mis-match, ruffled piece of mess on top...they all at least managed decent tops until Rami. Let's hope his crappy attitude gets him booted.
Critique...they nail Ricky as a swimsuit, Sweet P as not over the top enough, Rami as a bad color choice (that's all?)...AND, it appears Chris may actually WIN because the guest judges appear to be flaming neon cowboys who are right up his alley as costumers.
Prediction:
Bottom: Ricky, Sweet P, Rami
Top: Jillian, Christian, Chris.
Ricky goes, Chris wins (this is what I want as well)
Ricky's cape is declared a "disco haircutting smock" - this should finally do him in right?
Chris wins - and self-deprecates himself as "of course I win the tackiest challenge" - I heart Chris.
Ricky is out. wait for it, wait for it.....he DOESN'T cry.
Preview - they hint at nastiness (which never happens), they go ogle Bryant Park (like every season), and Christian works in Black. Excited yet?
