31 Days of Action: July 1st
Here's the thing...at the end of every summer season I (we) look around and realize that there was So.Much.More to be done. More house fixes, more NC exploring, more camping - that sort of thing. Compound that memory with the upcoming passing of another year, a marker year in fact. And here we are. Day One.
Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack. (old review) is back! Today was opening day and we hopped out at lunch to try it out.
I should have followed the rooster's advice and started with Mild, but I jumped right into Medium.
coffeefortwo went for the XX Hot and ate it all up. I believe the words were..."it's like fireworks in my mouth."
Personally, I think that XX Hot looks like poison. But it met all our rules...Summer of no-repeats (restaurants), a bit of Friday daytime date-night, and it got us out of the house for something NEW and untried (but raved about).
Now - how to keep this up for the whole month?!
