1. I saw the Alec Baldwin interview on 60 Minutes (I had to stop washing the dishes and rush over to the TV when I heard that sexy, gravely voice of his). He was ridiculously hilarious, yet completely serious. And now I am in love with Alec Baldwin the man and not just Jack Donaghy. He makes no apologies for who he is, he's got a fiery temper (which used to scare the crap out of me but now I find it irresistibly sexy), and he's a damn fine actor (with gorgeous blue eyes and salt and pepper hair and dimples and DID I MENTION THE GRAVELY VOICE?!!).
michellek, I think I should inform you that I'm about to have a very sweaty affair with your TV boyfriend. But don't worry, my heart belongs to Damian Lewis. Of course, that's what I said about Ed Helms when I decided to have an affair with Damian...
2. I watched Iron Man again today (this time with my parents and brother. I transferred the bootleg download onto a DVD). I enjoyed it even more than I did on the first watch. Tony/Pepper is starting to own my soul. But as I mentioned to
jesshelga earlier, I wouldn't mind if Pepper got it on with Agent Coulson first (which would lead to much snarktastic jealousy from Tony). Oh my god, I love Tony Stark!!!
3. I had a yearning to read a romance novel this weekend, so I think I'm getting back into my romance novel stage. I'm reading The Duchess by Jude Deveraux. Now, I didn't much care for her other books that I got a long time ago, but this one I am loving quite a bit. She's no Johanna Lindsey, but she'll have to do, since I've read my JH novels too many times to count and wanted something new, and these Jude Deveraux books have been lying around since two Christmases ago. Also, it helps that I'm picturing Damian as the sexy, snarky male hero (even though the dude is supposed to have piercingly dark eyes, and Damian's are as pale as pale blue can get). But there you have it. I've already told you that no matter what I'm reading, I always picture the male hero (or my favorite male character) as the dude that I'm currently obsessed with. It makes reading SO much fun, especially when it's a porntastic romance novel.
4. I heard that my 3-year-old nephew (who is now 40 inches tall) rode on a regular rollercoaster at Disney World. But he was deathly afraid of all the theatre shows. What??? That kid is so weird. I miss him. He's in Maryland visiting with my sis-in-law's family at the moment, so I didn't even get to see him after he came home from Disney World. So it's been 2 weeks since I've seen him. And it has been a very peaceful 2 weeks. But I miss him!!! I desperately want to hear his little laugh, and hear him scream "NOOOOOOO!" at me when I try to hug him. *missing nephew sigh*
5. I ate like a pig all weekend. This is why I am at a standstill with the weight issue. At least I haven't gained anything though.
6. My shoulder still hurts.
7.
grimorie has convinced me to watch The West Wing, so I put it on the top of my netflix list. So I may end up having a new obsession! Or not. I don't know. But ever since Brothers & Sisters, I have an insane love for Rob Lowe. OMG, HE'S SO BEAUTIFUL! Not as beautiful as Damian though.
8. Yikes, Desperate Housewives is starting! Gotta go.

9. My mom just called me to see if her lecture CDs would work in our DVD player, right when my show started of course, and she ended up accidentally smashing my fingers in the entertainment center as she pulled out the TV. OUCH!!!! *sigh* Only my mother. She's lucky I love her so much. And no, the CDs didn't work, so I got my fingers smashed for nothing.
