OH MY GOD!!! You know how every week I say that Alan and Denny can't get any gayer, and every week I am proven wrong? IT HAPPENED AGAIN! Yes, that's right folks, the man love was even more explicit than last week! Overall this episode kind of sucked, but the 7 or so minutes of Alan and Denny gaying it up totally made up for the suckiness.
DENNY WAS PERFORMING MOUTH TO MOUTH ON ALAN!!!! Dudes, Alan was on the floor, Denny was draped over him with his mouth pressed against Alan's, and then when they were caught Alan sat up with his mussed up hair and breathing hard, both all red lipped and bleary eyed. OMG!!! Denny's response? "Practicing for the coast guard exam... What? No tongues!" Bwahahahahahaha. Oh Denny, how I love you. And how I love Alan for willingly being the test dummy. OMG!!! And then them in matching body suits and Denny making fun of Alan's snorkling attire. Hee. AND THEN ALAN STRUTTING INTO THE GYM IN HIS AMERICAN FLAG BATHING SUIT ASDSDLFJDSLKFJGHOIGHDSFSDSD!!!!!!!! Yeah, he definitely brought the gay. And then their wrestling in the water when Alan was supposed to be saving Denny. Then them both having to be saved. Bwahahahahaha. They are so made for each other that it's scary. And then my beloved balcony moment. *dreamy sigh* I LOVE the balcony moments, and I am so freakin' happy that this ep got one, because I feared it wouldn't since prior to that Alan/Denny had only been in about 3 minutes of the episode. Oh, how I needed the balcony moment. They had the most adorable fight in the world, then Denny says he can't stand it when they fight, and Alan said something so amazing that I squeed like crazy (but now I can't remember what it was), and then they got up and hugged and pulled away from each other and gazed into each other's eyes (and had they been a man and a woman, they would have been making out like crazy glue). Then Alan asked for a sleepover, and Denny started bickering that the sleepovers aren't special anymore since they do it ALL THE TIME, and Alan says, "They're all special for me." OMG!!! Then Denny looks at him all touched and lovingly, and THEN THEY HUG AGAIN!!! Oh, how I love these two. They are the most satisfying ship in existence. I will not be surprised if they have sex together one day and run off to Hawaii to get married.
As for the rest of the ep, too much crammed in for characters that I really don't care about, and not enough for the characters that I do care about, AND JERRY WAS COMPLETELY MISSING!!! WHAT THE HELL? >:( I miss my Jerry. I was so hoping for some interaction between Katie and Jerry in this ep since Katie had a love interest (who was completely adorable, btw, and I wouldn't have minded him sticking around for awhile, especially if we got some Katie/Jerry developments). My love for Katie grows with each episode. She's sweet, she's feisty, she's intelligent, she's caring... she is just pure awesomeness. I think she's the first ancillary female character on the show that hasn't annoyed the bejesus out of me, and she's being developed beautifully. I sincerely hope that she doesn't leave any time soon, especially since she's such a great partner for Jerry. Anyway, back to the ep. John Lauroquette finally got some good screentime, but I am still indifferent to his character. The case about the mother suing the school for her daughter's death was boring and quite unoriginal. The pastor case was pointless, and as much as I loved seeing Clarence again, he didn't get to actually do anything. But what I hated most was that Alan and Denny were barely in the ep, just sprinkled in for comic effect here and there until the very end. I understand that they need to utilize the other cast members, but come on! Two eps in a row with a miniscule amount of Alan and Denny? That's just not right. I do love that Katie is getting so much screentime though. Have I mentioned that I love her? Because I do. But I wish Jerry had been there. Have I mentioned that I love Jerry? Because I do. I especially love Katie and Jerry together. They are starting to rival my love for Alan and Denny.
Also, I watched Juno (on the internets, shhhh) and it totally tugged on my heartstrings. It was just... different. Refreshing. Probably not something that I'd watch over and over again, but it was good. Jason Bateman? I don't normally care for him too much, but he totally turned me on in this film as the creepy, OMG-is-he-hitting-on-her? guy. Don't know why. But the real scene stealer was Michael Cera. SO ADORABLE!!!
Also, I watched another ep of House earlier tonight. Season 1 ep4, the one with the infected babies. This ep killed me. I cried like crazy. Dying babies get me every time. And I loved the little insight into Cameron's past. I take it that she lost a baby? I adored House for caring, and I especially adored him for being the only one that noticed. Cameron's reaction to him at the end was a bit EMO though. She should have been freaking ecstatic that he was curious about her life, because it's pretty obvious that she has a thing for him. Cuddy is starting to grow on me, but I still don't feel the House/Cuddy love. But maybe in future eps I will. Right now I'm still pretty fascinated by the relationship between House and Cameron, but mostly House and Wilson. Actually, truth be told, I'm even feeling Foreman/Cameron vibes. And Chase/Cameron. And Wilson/Cameron. Dude, that girl gets around!
