So, I just watched Camelot. Is it weird that I ship Merlin/Arthur like mad even in this version? I mean, dudes, he was looking in on Arthur's very detailed sex dream and was all jealously shouting, "WHO IS SHE? WHO IS SHE?!!" and Arthur's just like, "WTF?" Ahahahaha, OMG, I love them. I also kind of ship Merlin/Morgan. I can see me getting attached to either one, though at this point Merlin/Arthur is the winner by a long shot. And I'm sure I'll fall in love with Guinevere/Lancelot whenever they get introduced. Maybe. Or else I'll find the whole Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot triangle insufferable and just want more Arthur/Merlin. WHO KNOWS. And I'm sure Morgan will get in on that triangle action, too, so... but if she has sexual tension with any of the main characters, I'm hoping it will be with Merlin (in fact, they already do have some tension, but I don't think it's supposed to be sexual, although one bit made me think that there may be a past romance between them, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part). When I saw the previews, I thought it a bit odd that the show cast such a soft, non-intimidating looking actor as Arthur, but it totally works for how this plot was set up, so, I actually felt he fit perfectly (especially since he's supposed to be a bit of a pretty boy Lothario). So, yeah, I'm totally into this show, even though it's kind of lame at this point. But, you know, it's not any worse than Merlin.
Also, HOW CUTE WAS COLIN LAST NIGHT? OMG, I LOVE HIM. It's about damn time that he finally gets some recognition for being a quality actor. I've been dazzled by his talent for years, but I know that he's mostly only known for his romantic lead roles (and I love him as the romantic lead, don't get me wrong. He will always be my favorite. ALWAYS!) but he's done so much more than that. He made me cry my eyes out with And When Did You Last See Your Father, he made me love him and hate him and cry for him in Where the Truth Lies, he got me all hot and bothered in Girl With a Pearl Earring, he was such a jerkass in Valmont but somehow he still made me love him, he was so quietly brilliant in A Month in the Country, and oooooh how I loved him in Another Country. But of course Bridget Jones is what drew me to him, and Pride and Prejudice is what made me obsessed with him, so... But I love that he's also not afraid to do the cheesy rom-com roles or the goofy kids movie roles or the snarky gay guy roles or that role in Mamma Mia that made the movie somewhat bearable. So, yeah, he's awesome. I love him.
