Thursdays are my FAVORITE

1. You know how last week I said that I'd stop watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? I TOTALLY LIED. Because I watched it tonight, and it made me laugh really hard, and because of that I just can't stop watching. I'M AFRAID OF MISSING THE GOOD STUFF. So, yeah, I'll suffer through the crappy eps in order to catch the few gems that this show is still churning out. Oh god, DEE AND HER FREAKY DANCE MOVES. DENNIS AND HIS IMPLICATIONS. CHARLIE AND MAC AND THEIR PATRONIZING. FRANK DESTROYING THINGS. THE HORSE TOOTH. Basically, I loved this ep. A lot. This is Sunny doing what it does best: being wacky and having no real plot. The premiere two-parter was just awful, probably because it tried to attempt some sort of plot and failed terribly.

2. The Big Bang Theory also delighted me. I love that this season seems to have shifted the focus back to Sheldon. He's the main reason why I watch, so, you know, I'm totally down with that (though I do miss the blatant homosexual implications about Raj/Howard that was in pretty much every ep of season 3).

3. Community! Funny episode, but still not on par with season 1. Still though, Annie and her out of control chloroforming had me laughing my head off. Oh, Annie. I love her way too much. Also, SENOR CHANG. I felt so bad for him. Just... HOW DOES THE SHOW DO THAT? Oh man, when it cut to his little dream sequence when he was asked why he was popping and locking so hard, I actually got a lump in my throat. CHANG. ♥ Ha, I knew that story would end the way it did, because, let's face it, this study group is made up of a bunch of lovable jerks, but still, it hurt (though it also made me laugh).

4. 30 Rock. Was not feeling it in the beginning, but then Tracy followed the wrong Grizz and I fell in mad love with this episode. I LOVE YOU, TRACY JORDAN. And I love how him knowing all that trivia somehow made perfect sense. And I enjoyed the show's use of Paul Giamatti. It was the first time in a long time when a big name guest star was not treated like a big name guest star and actually fit beautifully into the 30 Rock world. And Tracy!Kenneth! And the tag scene! That tag scene gave me a Jack/Liz thrill that I haven't felt since... I can't even remember.

5. The Office! It made me laugh, but I didn't enjoy this one as much as last week's ep. I did love Dwight getting Pretty Woman-ified though. And Toby's sneak attack therapy on Michael was kind of brilliant. And Michael's Gabe impression was magnificent. And Andy throwing his cuff links away was kind of sexy. I'm sorry, that's all I've got. There wasn't much to talk about with this ep.

Yeah, just expect a Kim Seung Woo spam in every post. I &HEARTS HIM KIND OF A LOT. I finished Mr. Duke today. As I suspected, the show continued being super adorable, and the romance was all angsty and dramatic but not in an annoying way? Or maybe I just felt that way because it was Kim Seung Woo WHO DOES EVERYTHING ADORABLY. The music was uber cheesy and sounded like it was stuck in the mid 90s even though the drama was made in 2000, but, you know. Also, during the most emotional bits everything just goes dead silent, which threw me off since I am used to the K-dramas having beautiful musical scores for the emotional bits. Definitely gives it a different emotional impact. But, anyway, all I really wanted out of this drama was KSW being heavily featured and for the romance to be super adorable and have a happy ending, so, in that case, this drama delivered completely.

Also, now that I've seen KSW in numerous things, I am almost positive that in IRIS he played Chul Young as being in love with Soon Hwa. I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THIS. I am still holding onto this foolish hope that IRIS 2 will focus on a Chul Young/Soon Hwa romance, even though I have no idea if those two characters will even be in IRIS 2, or if IRIS 2 is still even a thing. I don't know. I wish I could read Korean so that I'd have better info on this. I believe that Kim Seung Woo is busy being a talk show host right now (I guess?), so I don't even know if he plans on doing anymore dramas anytime soon, but... if IRIS 2 is a thing, and they ask him to come back, and he can't? I will be heartbroken beyond repair.
