I dreamed a dream....
So, last night there was a commotion over this sneak peak Community vid (slightly perpetuated by my original "OH NOES" reaction, because sometimes I am an eternal pessimist, but I didn't think anyone would actually pay any attention to me), and this happened like a half hour before I went to bed, so naturally I had a dream about the season 2 premiere. And oh was it glorious.
So, in the dream, the group is convinced that Jeff and Britta are together, because Abed noticed that Jeff is happier than normal, and they both deny it, but no one really believes them. And then Jeff says something like, "I'm NOT dating Britta. But I did meet this wonderful, sexy, intelligent girl who even has her own designated ringtone on my phone," (because... that's the epitome of romance? I don't know, I don't know) and he gives Annie this look (discreetly), and she smiles softly, and the group asks, "So when are we going to meet her?" and Jeff goes, "Uh... never. I don't want you loonies scaring her away," and then they're all, "Pfft, whatever, she doesn't exist. You're dating Britta." And then the Jeff/Britta tongue thing happens in Anthropology class, and Annie punches Jeff, and he spends the rest of the episode trying to convince her that he no longer has any feelings for Britta of a romantic nature, and he does something that melts her heart (I can't remember what it was), and then in the end it shows them at Jeff's place, and Annie's holding a two year old boy, and it's Jeff's kid from a previous relationship, and they're being this adorable little family and it was the sweetest thing ever. So basically, Jeff and Annie are in a secret relationship, but it's not overly obvious, AND JEFF HAS A KID, WTF? Oh, brain. But you know what? It totally made me feel better about that spoiler vid. My brain somehow convinced me that it's all evidence proving that Jeff and Annie are totally in love.
