Boston Legal was actually on tonight!!! OMG, I never realize how much I love this show until I've unexpectedly gone weeks without seeing it. ABC does this ALL THE TIME with Boston Legal. They say they're gonna show it, then they put something else on. Then three weeks later they finally bring it back. No idea why this happens, but it explains why the ratings are low (no one ever knows when it'll be on!). Anyway, absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder with this show, as long as it's just a short absence (otherwise it gets completely forgotten).
Denny was so magnificently awesome tonight. The fart in the bathroom, the looking underneath a stall (knew what was coming once they showed that a guy was in the next stall), the humming and dancing his legs wider... Oh, Denny. Bwahahahahahahaha. Only he can unknowingly solicit gay sex. In a court house. Hee. And what does he do the second the cops appear? He whips out his phone and calls Alan, and when they manhandle him he cries out for Alan to save him. So adorable. The Alan/Denny relationship has so many homosexual undertones that it's crazy. And they were all blatantly pointed out tonight (as if they aren't blatantly pointed out every episode, hee). I never knew that their "sleepovers" meant that they slept in the same bed. That is a little weird. But it still made me squee. And the handholding! Oh, so sweet. Alan and Denny would so be lovers if they weren't heterosexual manwhores. They are definitely soulmates, that's for sure.
I missed Jerry. :'( The cast on this show is way too huge. I am baffled as to why they keep bringing in these new people who they spend so much time developing when it's obvious that they will disappear by the season's end, and then they neglect the people who are there for the long haul. Jerry's there to stay (at least I hope he is). Forget tall, stick-thin brunette British girl and go back to Jerry! Ugh, I hate it when they make Alan fall in love. He's much better as a suave manwhore than a lovesick fool. I keep hoping they'll go back to the wife that he mentioned ages ago. He keeps saying that he never found "the one," but it sure sounded like he loved his wife (at one point, anyway). I'm pretty sure he said she died, and I've always figured he turned into a manwhore after that because he's afraid to let himself love again. Anyway, Alan's better when he has multiple love interests rather than just one. It's been established already that Denny is his one true love, so he might as well just accept it. :D Denny has. Oh, I still love that moment from a few episodes ago where he told Alan he loved him.
I love this show!!! More people should watch it. James Spader + William Shatner = Pure Brilliance.
