1. Warehouse 13 continues to be delightful. And I continue to fall in love with Pete/Claudia, even though this ep was pushing the Myka/Pete subtext more than usual. Whatevs. My rebel shipping cannot be stopped! Unfortunately.
2. Covert Affairs was so completely awesome. I am in it... to win it? I don't know, but anyway, I highly enjoyed it. The car chases were amazing, the action was the right mixture of showy and plausible, and the characters are already pretty lovable. Particularly Auggie. And, yeah, I kind of really, really want to ship Annie and Auggie, because not only is their banter adorable, but look at the alliteration! Clearly they are meant to be. Unfortunately there is some kind of crazy EPIC LOVE happening in Annie's backstory though, and the pilot managed to even get me intrigued there, and, let's face it, that dude kind of ruined all men for her. No one will ever measure up, so shipping Auggie/Annie is pretty futile, but that's never stopped me before, now has it? Also, I'll admit it, when Annie was getting her CIA badge and they were paralleling her dialog with Arthur's, I so thought I would be shipping them, but alas, the show failed to deliver anything of substance between them during their actual interaction. BUMMER. I don't even know why I'm focusing this review on shipping, because uh... that's most definitely not what this show is about, but again, has that ever stopped me? Anyway, this show is good summer fun, and pretty damn awesome. I was fearing that it would be too much like Burn Notice or White Collar, but it captured my love right from the start (mind you, the pilot for White Collar got me too, but then after that I found the show completely boring, so hopefully that doesn't happen with this one. With Burn Notice, I seem to get into it for a few eps and then promptly lose interest, then I get into it again, then I lose interest again).
3. I am so completely in love with this vid:

Oh, Jeff/Annie. *dreamy sigh* I love it when people somehow manage to make angsty vids out of such a wacky show. Oh, oh, speaking of Jeff/Annie, have you all read

dearygirl? If you haven't, you should, because 1) it's beyond awesome, 2) it's EPIC, both in length and in quality, and 3) flashbacks interspersed with real time! I am kind of a sucker for that format, I have no clue why, but anyway, it was expertly put to use in this story. Seriously, it was so, so wonderful.
4. You know, I look forward to the
porn battle every year, and it's pretty much the only time that I dare to write porn, but of course this one's happening while I'm on vacation. So not cool. Oh well, I participated in the winter one, I guess that's enough. BUT WHAT A BUMMER.
5. True Blood. You know, I'm not too sure if I like Bill's regression into evil, because it's taking away most of his endearing qualities, but at the same time, it's kind of wonderful seeing him being so damn evil. It's interesting how his vampiric instincts are being shown in this completely dark light and it just feels dirty and hopeless and depressing, and you know it's because he's trying to give up Sookie and just be what he is because he thinks it'll hurt Sookie less, and I think this is what saves him from completely turning into a villain, but it also frustrates me because he didn't bother to ask Sookie what she wanted (but again, I understand why he did what he did, it's just sad to see him stop fighting for a love that he had previously fought so hard to protect). And man was that last Bill scene disturbing. Whenever Bill feeds on humans (other than Sookie), it is always shown in this terribly, terribly violent way, which is such a contradiction to the Bill we've come to know, and it somehow makes him feel way more dangerous than Eric has ever been (even though, you know, we've seen Eric rip a dude apart and completely traumatize poor Lafayette).
Also, I am kind of in mad love with Franklin. Dude's insane.
