1. I should never, ever drink soda pop (or anything with caffeine), because it pretty much keeps me wired for at least 10 hours. Like, I don't even want to know how long I'd stay awake if someone gave me a Red Bull. I'm guessing a week and a half.

2. Lassiter is clearly Juliet's soulmate, and I wish Psych would just consciously embrace this fact. Also, funniest episode of Psych ever, yes/no? It was definitely the most enjoyable ep since season 2. Also, even though there were angsty looks betwixt Shawn and Juliet, it totally didn't bother me, because CLEARLY LASSITER IS JULIET'S SOULMATE. The ending with the ex made me roll my eyes though, because you know it's just saying, "Hey, lookie here! FUTURE CONVENIENT LOVE TRIANGLE, BIYATCHES." Which means Shawn and Juliet will probably be a couple next season. Which means I will need a designated Psych barf bag come summer time. Although, maybe once they're an actual couple the stupid angsty looks will stop, which will be a total plus. But CLEARLY LASSITER IS JULIET'S SOULMATE. He just is. Also, he's tall. Just saying.

3. I enjoy Ugly Betty way more when I am shipping Betty/Marc/Amanda than when I ship Daniel/Betty. It didn't used to be like this, but post season 2, that's just a fact. I am kind of ready to finally just say screw Daniel/Betty, let Betty's happy ending be that she starts a magazine of her own with Marc and Amanda. What kind of magazine, I have no idea, but, it would be theirs, and it would be awesome. (I'm totally lying, I am still hoping for my happy Daniel/Betty ending, but there's no plausible way for it to happen in 6 episodes, therefore I've come to terms with the fact that it's just not going to happen). Also, why no preview for next week? Are we getting a repeat yet again?

4. The Middle still totally delights me, and tonight there was a story about Brick's first sleepover and it was with a kid that constantly acts like a cat, and, that kid was totally my nephew. Right down to his Asian-ness! It was a little scary. But seriously, the mittens, the talking in meows, the clawing at curtains... totally my nephew.

5. I also let Charlie Brown's Valentine Special play while I was surfing the net, and, I don't think I ever quite realized as a kid how in love Lucy is with Charlie. When I was little, I always thought she was just a big bully, but watching it now, and thinking back to the cartoons I saw as a child, it's pretty clear to me that Lucy had a thing for him. Also, Peppermint Patty and Marcie totally went on a threesome date with Charlie Brown. HOLY CRAP. I never knew that the Peanuts strips were so progressive. And now it's obvious that Marcie is not a lesbian as everyone likes to proclaim. She is very clearly bi. Also, Snoopy kisses Charlie a lot.

6. I rewatched Scott's Tots last night because I think I'm seriously shipping Michael/Erin (I even started a fic! Which will probably never see the light of day, but I wrote a paragraph that I am quite fond of!), and, I forgot how much I actually loved this episode. Andy doing his baby voice! Michael doing his Elvis voice! (and saying "Well, thank you, thank you a lot" instead of "Thank you, thank you very much") Michael being unnecessarily mean to Erin! Dwight doing spot-on imitations of Kevin, Stanley, and Toby over the phone! Erin adorably singing the little rap song about Michael in the car! And... Michael snapping at her. ERIN MAKING MICHAEL FEEL BETTER, despite the fact that he did nothing but constantly put her down! Michael realizing in that moment what a douche he's been without anyone having to outright tell him! Erin's little smile after Michael tells her she's been doing a great job! Michael asking her what her hopes for her future are! MICHAEL AND ERIN HARMONIZING ON THE MICHAEL SCOTT RAP! Andy actually doing things unrelated to Erin! And speaking to people that aren't named Erin! Dwight and Ryan making an alliance to BRING JIM DOWN, a plotline that has been completely forgotten about by the writers and probably most of the audience! Basically, I really loved this ep, because it was full of the painful, cringe-worthy Michael and the sweet, genuine, insightful Michael, and the ensemble actually got to be useful. I think maybe even Angela had a line? Possibly? You remember her, right? Does she even still work there? Sometimes I wonder. You all know I love my Andy, but sometimes I think the screentime that is being given to Andy/Erin is preventing those little ensemble moments that I love so very much. A random comment from Creed, Meredith being gross, Stanley rolling his eyes, Phyllis being sweetly catty, Angela being cattishly catty, Kelly being dramatic, Oscar being put upon, Kevin giggling... it feels like the season is really veering away from all that, and I'm pretty sure it started when the show got serious about Andy/Erin. I wouldn't mind it all that much if Andy and Erin were capable of being funny when they're together, but... they're not, and Scott's Tots is a perfect example of the fact that they are utterly hilarious when playing off of pretty much anyone else. *sigh* That whole star-crossed, adorable overload didn't work with me for Jim/Pam, nor did it work with me for Michael/Holly, and it's really not working for me with Andy/Erin. I just wish The Office would stop playing the same love story over and over again. Michael/Jan and Ryan/Kelly managed to be completely unique love stories of their own, so I know this show is able to do a non-Jim/Pam formula, I just think they've forgotten how.

Ugh, I did not mean to whine about the downfall of The Office! I should be in bed. So, I'm going to go... get in bed.

OH! OH! Before I do that, everyone and their mother should read On Being Felicity (Or, Annie Edison Likes the Simplicity of Lists) by piecesofalice, because it's utterly brilliant. It's everything I've ever hoped and dreamed to find in a Jeff/Annie fic (and it has a whole lot of other stuff that I never even fathomed, because, well, I'm not that awesome)
