1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Jim/Pam)

Well, I don't hate them, I just find them to be incredibly boring.
*grins* This is my sentiment exactly. Whenever I watch them on screen, I can't help but feel as if I'm watching a photocopied carbon copy version of a Hollywood "Meant To Be" romance cliche, complete with 'Right Place, Wrong Time' situations and complications! :D And it's not that I dislike their relationship, but I've seen this particular dynamic so many times in so many places that I kind of support the pairing in a listless, halfhearted fist pump sort of way. Also, I agree that S3 started to feel like the Jim and Pam Show.
Dear writers, so you say Jim and Pam belong together? That is fine and dandy as candy! But please take note that your viewers are not so ADHD that they need to be reminded of it every other scene. :D

This ship has absolutely no fanfic whatsoever, and that saddens me. It's all either Jules/Shawn or Jules/Gus. So very sad. Woe, I am surprised! I suppose most people pair Lassy with Shawn, and ( ... )

Haha, yes! I was so afraid that I was going to get blasted for not liking Jim and Pam. You've described my feelings perfectly. It's just so... blah. No excitement. I mean, I was happy for Pam and all at the end of The Job, but I really didn't care one way or the other. And you just knew from the beginning of the ep that Jim would come back and it would be a happy ending for Jim and Pam (or happy beginning, I guess). No excitement. Forget Jim/Pam, bring on the Michael/Ryan! ;)

On a tangent, the finale made me want to do the technicolor yawn. I do not like Shawn/Juliet

Oh, I so feel ya, dawg! I was cringing at the end of the finale during that... whatever they did. The not kiss. I figured that the writers would go down the Shawn/Jules road eventually, but not this soon. So I really detested that scene. They're just too cutesy for me, can't stand them. I'm with you, I care more about Shawn's relationship with Gus, and really, that's what the show is all about. Because honestly, without their chemistry, the show would be

Oh man, I completely understand the fear of getting throttled by diehard Jim/Pam supporters. Can this be a legitimate phobia? I put forth a motion to have it indexed in the upcoming DSM edition under 'Jamophobia'. Or perhaps we should just call it being 'Jinxed'. :D

I have never quite understood the extent to which people ship Jim/Pam in fandom. Those two may be a "perfect couple" so to speak, but perfection can be so awfully dull! I mean, great for Jim and Pam if they get married, have beautiful babies and live happily ever after together, but I would be perfectly content receiving emailed photos of the wedding reception as opposed to actually being there for celebratory support and cheering. :)

Forget Jim/Pam, bring on the Michael/Ryan! ;)
Oh my goodness, yes, please. The deleted S3 scenes are filled with so much gay affection I squeed into my hands repeatedly. How can fanfic writers (and Office fans in general!) not go for beautifully awkward moments like this? Or the Photoshopped Egyptian vacation. Or the phone calls. OR ( ... )
