Random factoid of the day.
I can no longer think of Jack/Liz without hearing this song, only... in my head he's saying "Hello" instead of "What's new" and I have it in my head that Jack would most definitely sing this if he and Liz ever went out on a karaoke date, and I'm fairly certain that his singing voice would be almost identical to Tom Jones. I have no idea why Jack and Liz would be on a karaoke date, and they already did the strip bar/karaoke bar joke in the pilot with Tracy and Liz, but wouldn't it be awesome to see Jack do karaoke? And have Liz mock him, while all the older ladies in the bar are fawning over him and he's totally digging the attention? It would. It would be very awesome. Especially if he whips out some Tom Jones moves. And I know this is about the third time within the period of 2 months that I've linked to Tom Jones, but I swear I'm not a Tom Jones fan. Just a casual listener. But I do often quote Sex Bomb, because that song is just too good to not quote constantly, especially when figure skating comes into the equation.
