In other news, I watched the leaked season 3 premiere of Dexter, and, dudes, it was awesome. Nothing mind-blowing or anything, but definitely on par with seasons 1 and 2, and I'm excited to see where they take the characters this season. They've put a beautiful new spin on Dexter himself, which I am enjoying. Also, JIMMY SMITTS! I don't know why I'm excited about that. I'm not even a fan of anything that he was in. Except for that movie where Ellen Barkin was really a dude. That movie was awesome. Um... anyway, he's pretty moving on Dexter.
1. I miss Doakes. :'( Not even a mention of him! Hmph.
2. What happened to Lundy? Completely unexplained. I guess he and Deb just parted ways. Thank god.
3. What's going on with Angel and La Guerta? Dude, I think La Guerta was macking on him. Or not.
4. Speaking of Angel, someone over on MTT asked, after having just watched seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, if anyone else thought that Angel and Deb would end up together. That thought never even crossed my mind because I was always so focused on Deb/Doakes, and now, with this episode, I saw SO MUCH SUBTEXT! Like... wow. Now I want to go back and see all the subtext that I missed before. And ooooooh how sweet they would be. Seriously. I love Angel like crazy. And he was so worried about Deb hating him in this ep, but Deb swallowed her pride and didn't blame him, because he's too hard to be mad at. Awwwwwwwww. Seriously, their relationship is so sweet, AND I NEVER EVEN NOTICED! Doakes stole all of my attention away from everyone else.
5. I am loving Dexter's reaction to killing Oscar. So much.
Okay, Gossip Girls is about to start. By the way, having to choose between GG and T:TSCC? Not fun. But T:TSCC is on Hulu, so GG wins.
