Fuck Psych, man. FUCK IT! They make my heart sing, then they break it into 5 million pieces with one single moment. Do the writers even watch their own show? I am baffled. BAFFLED! They show me these wonderful things and prove this and that, then contradict it all by forcing a poorly developed and chemistry-lacking relationship down my throat. WHY SHOW? WHY MUST YOU TORTURE ME?
The Shawn/Gus stuff was so frickin' beautiful. Even this girl who they haven't talked to in 13 years assumes that Shawn and Gus are dating. She sees their love right away. The Shawn/Gus banter, so adorable. SHAWN'S BROMANTIC SPEECH AT THE END! OMG!!!!!! They even played cheesy romantic music over it in true brat pack fashion. Big flashing neon lights saying, "SHAWN AND GUS ARE IN LOVE! NOTHING WILL EVER BEAT THIS!" And they give us this wonderful girl named Abigail who has instant chemistry with Shawn and it's the first time that I've ever been able to see him with anyone but Gus and they're adorable and quick-witted and understanding of each other and both are flawed but they appreciate each other's flaws and they just click and make me squee with their very few scenes together and this is the first time that we've really seen Shawn serious about a woman and we get this incredible kiss, AND THEY RUIN IT ALL FOR THE SAKE OF PROLONGING THE NAUSEATING SHAWN/JULIET STORYLINE! WTF? The entire episode was painting the picture that Shawn's never been serious about Juliet, in the entirety of the show she's never even come close to competing with Gus for the #1 spot in Shawn's heart while Abigail did it in one episode, Shawn and Abigail were so natural and interesting while Shawn/Juliet is forced/contrived and poorly developed, and just NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOO! WTF SHOW? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY MUST YOU GO THE SUPERFICIAL ROUTE? YOU DON'T NEED A RATINGS PLOY! DAMN IT! FUCK YOU, PSYCH! If Shawn/Juliet becomes a reality, I fear that I will be convulsing so much that I'll have to stop watching the show. Ugh. Things were going so good, but it all resulted in a slap in the face. FUCK! And I am seriously angry over the lack of Lassiter/Juliet scenes. We got ONE tonight, and Lassi stuck up for her, which was adorable, and he called her "sweetie" which was weird, but satisfying, AND THEN IT WAS ALL RUINED BY THE FUCKING ENDING THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF NOT FOR THE CONTRIVED LOOK AT JULIET! WTF SHOW? WHAT... THE... FUCK? Why have Gus and this other woman bringing out an adult moment in Shawn, then have him looking moonily at Juliet, who has never once shared a genuinely honest moment with him? Just... BLERG! IT MAKES NO SENSE! FUCK PSYCH! DAMN IT TO HELL! POOP IT OUT THEN LIGHT IT ON FIRE AND PUT IT ON THE FUCKING WRITERS' DOORSTEP! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
