The moment you've all been waiting for...
1. I've finally gotten my In Plain Sight picspam up. Woohoo! That puppy took me a good three and a half hours (of course... some of it was spent watching certain scenes over and over and over again...). Oh, and I just want to note, I've hijacked this icon from
piecesofalice (I gave you credit in the image info, but I just want to make sure that you're okay with me stealing it). I'm total crap at making my own icons. I switch out my icons pretty frequently, so I probably won't use it for long, but I wanted to show my Double Guns Marshall love while it was hot.
Just in case you guys couldn't tell from my last post, I really loved In Plain Sight. A lot. A lot a lot. Like... I may end up loving this show even more than I love Psych kind of love. Of course, once this ends and Psych starts up, I'm sure I'll be all OMG PSYCH, but right now this is my show. Kickass action, kickass characters, and a completely awesome ship that may end up taking the #1 spot on my list if it keeps going this good. Honestly though, last night? GREATEST EPISODE EVER OMG OMG OMG! I can't decide whether I loved the shootout more or the scene where Marshall and Mary danced around his feelings for her and he called her an exotic animal (that is really taken out of context, but you all know what I mean). GAAAAAAAAAAH! THE UNREQUITED LOVE KILLS ME! KILLS ME! AS DO THE DOUBLE GUNS!
2. I am really, really enjoying NCIS. Mark Harmon! *wibble* But you know what? Gibbs is fine and all, but I think I'm falling even harder for DiNozzo. He's so deliciously obnoxious and completely adorable, and I love how completely in love he is with Gibbs. The ep where he was jealous of Gibbs' old employee? GAH! SO FREAKING ADORABLE! And Gibbs remembered their anniversary. ♥ Hee. I do really love their dynamic, but I love Gibbs/Abby even more. (
tinted_glass, you know me too well. You peg all my ships right off the bat. You must be psychic... or I'm just predictable. But Gibbs/DiNozzo is my side ship). Actually, I think I even like Tony/Kate, and I HATE Kate, but... they're kind of like Josh/Donna from The West Wing. They'll annoy the bejesus out of me, and then somehow I'll find myself enjoying them. I don't know. It helps that I like DiNozzo so much, and I love his jealousy over the attention that Gibbs gives to Kate. Anyway, 8 episodes in, I can most definitely tell that Gibbs/Abby is my OTP. The way that he softens around her, the way that she gets a kick out of teasing him/flirting with him, the age gap, the whole opposites thing, the way that they kind of get lost in their own world when around each other (even speaking their own language, hee, so adorable), the way he brings her coffee, the way she'll just touch his arm or shoulder in a natural, intimate way, THE CUTENESS!!! Yeah, I'm in love.
