i dedicate this to lindsay...
many of you have read it all when it comes to john kellum. you've seen my deep down emotional side, you've seen when i had dug myself into the deepest holes, and you've seen when i have just been so deeply happy and in love. and i know that sticking it out with me and reading my life, my thoughts, and my opinions are very hard to follow... and i appreciate you all.
but there's someone who i feel so privileged to call a friend; someone that i more then appreciate allowing me into her life.
i've stuck it out with her on many occasions, we've listened to eachother, we've advised eachother, we've shared many laughs with eachother, we've shared our souls over a cup of tea with eachother. i've always thought everything i've lived through and all my experiences were radical and ... but this woman; this beautiful woman has probably endured just as much if not more then i've been through. and because of that she is such an emotional yet determined woman. cause i know when the times get tough and kick you on your ass... i typically would have to recuperate for a few days of sulking and song writing. but when she's knocked down on the floor; she so elegantly gets back up, puts her party face on, and dances her cares away! AND I LOVE THAT!!! our lives are different, i'm glad that we live through them together. she's what i call a true friend! she's classy, she's not afraid to tell you how shes feeling, she's vibrant, she's loud, she's stylish, she's authentic, she more then lights up a room when she walks in, she's the eternal optimist.
i'm so thankful that we are classmates in this classroom that we call life... and i wouldn't want anyone else sitting in one of the seats next to me... cause we'll always have eachother to giggle at, always pass notes to eachother, always be there to defend one another, and always know that once in awhile we can peak at eachother's answers.
this is what friendships are for...
