[God put on his usual body for what he intended to be his last encounter with Mello, but he knows Matt's wandering around as a girl, so he changes back to a female form too, this time in a simple white chiton with a rainbow clasp at the shoulder. She's dressed in a pale blue dress, ankle length, made out of the shimmery, shiny material she loves so much. This one doesn't glimmer, but it's very shiny, and she's got more than enough rainbow bracelets covering her arms to make up for the lack of shimmer. She's on her way to see Near, of course, and she wants to look pretty for him. Or her. Her hair is brushed (Gasp!), shoulder length, still red.*
Near! Hey, Near!
*She finds Near, female, and smiles broadly.*

*Matt looks entirely excited at the fact that Near called her beautiful. She clasps her hands behind her back and giggles, leaning forward a little and rocking back and forth.*
I've had LOADS of fun! I met a lot of people and I set off fireworks and did all sorts of things!

[Near goes over and gives Matt a hug, and kisses her cheek.]
It sounds exciting.
[She waves her hand, and the room turns into a duplicate of the gardens of the cloud palace, with a winding path inlaid with cobalt-colored glass, exotic flowers around every turn, and wisps of cloud drifting close to the ground. Near smiles, pleased, and offers her arm to Matt.]
Let us take a walk, and you can tell me all about it.

*She begins to think of where she's going to start.*
Okay, well, my friend Nearly gave me fireworks, and I was gonna set them off and I met Mel, the girl Mello! And I saw Lawli, the little L, and I read to him and... and Mel is really cool! And she said I was cool! And I helped her go to sleep, with this nifty thing I've been practicing, and it worked, and...

It is not quite the same as home, but it will do well enough.
You are cool, Mattapan. It was very nice of you to read to Lawli, and to help Mel. I do not know why there appears to be an epidemic of sleeplessness. [She frowns a little for a moment - this means it's the mansion's doing, and that can't be good.] I also saw that you have been practicing your dragon fireworks.
Mello is back, you know, and restored to his old self.

Hee. It was fun, to help them. Lawli is really cute, and Mel is so awesome, she helped me with my fireworks. And yeah... everybody is really sleepy, lately. I'm kinda worried for them. I mean, I checked on Lawli and Mel after they were asleep and they slept for a good time, but.
*She makes a bit of a :\ face before smiling a little.*
Yeah! I promised Lawli I would make him little dragons for his birthday. He looked really happy.
*She rests her head on Near's shoulder as the walk, just for a moment.*
I know. I haven't seen him, but I know he's around. I could feel him.

However, I think I may want to see what these problems are all about before returning home. Many of the people here are insomniacs, but someone as young as Lawli should not be. We can help them, Matty.
[She turns her head to drop a kiss onto Matt's hair.]

*She says this quietly, clutching Near's hand a little more tightly.*

He seems willing enough to leave us be, and I am inclined to return the favor.
[She turns their hands about, stroking Matt's fingers with her own, and makes a gesture with her other hand. Several of the wildly-colored flowers gather themselves into a bouquet and float to her. Near takes a light blue one and tucks it behind her ear, and holds the rest out to Matt.]

Okay. Just so long as he doesn't hurt other people.
*Matt almost squees when Near brings the flowers to her, and she skips a little, grinning. She pauses to kiss Near's cheek, tucking her own blue flower behind her ear and holding the flowers to her chest.*

I am keeping an eye on him. I cannot keep him from using his powers or carrying out his schemes, but I can be on hand to help people who need it.
[Near beams to see Matt so happy, and gives her a quick kiss on the lips.]

Yeah. Me too. I can't really watch him like you can, but I am trying to help. I'm kind of worried about the little Near. I don't want to see anything bad happen to him.
*And yes, this is because she has a protectiveness for Nears.
The kiss makes her giggle shyly, and she leans back with Near, kissing her softly and bringing her hand up to touch Near's face, a little.*

I am worried about that Near, too, but you know I cannot interfere with free will. When he asks for my help, though, I will give it.
Mmm... [Near likes kissing Matt as a girl; it's a softer and gentler feeling. She slips her fingers through Matt's hair and tugs her closer for a longer kiss.]

I don't know why he did it. Does he love Mello?
Is he going to ask you for help?
*Aaaand pause, because kissing Near as a girl is at the top of his list of priorities at the moment. She wraps her arms around Near's waist and kisses her back, hair rippling through the colors of the rainbow as she does.*

I believe he thinks he does, but you know, I do not think love is truly love when there is so much fear intermingled with it.
When he is ready, he will. It is important not to rush these things.
[Near laughs silently when she feels Matt's hair change, and puts her hands on Matt's shoulders, holding on as she floats them higher off the ground.]
