I don't think I have anything else to say other than I AGREE THAT WAS REALLY DUMB.

Though the happy bits were nice. But still. I get that it was forced bug ugh.

I just hope Mary ends up somewhere good because blah.

Wherever she ends up, she's not going to be Countess of Grantham, which IMO was the entire point of the show.

Yeah. I don't know how they're going to work that out now, since there's actually no more living heir other than Mary (as the eldest, that is)? I'm hoping that somehow, someone will manage to fight the entail and name Mary the heiress, or something of the sort.

Gah, it's just a huge mess now.
