Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in that wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truthThis has been such a wonderful day that it warrants annoying caps and irritating exclamation points ( Read more... )

I received a lovely CD with my song from tooomuchfandom. Thank you, dear!

Oh dear! I've sent it months ago and you recently got it? *rolls eyes*

Have fun with it:D

*hugs* Thanks! As it turns out, it's been in my mother's possession for quite a while...remind me to tell you about the extent of her paranoia sometime. *sigh*

I love it! How odd that before you, I had never even heard of the Kelly Family...

My step-mom has the book on paranoia. When my brother was on the road a lot, I took to calling her about once a week to check up on her, since she usually ends up in screaming matches with my sister. (My dad has been divorced from her since the 50's; this is his first wife.) If I mentioned my dad in the conversation, she would take it that he was having me call her to spy on her! I was calling her because I like her!

Although when I call now, I always hear her happy voice saying, "My ticker is running on a battery. Isn't that amazing what they can do today?"

Wow. I suspect that your step-mother and my mother would get along famously. Does she have government conspiracy therories as well?

Sometimes.

She's 84 years old and not always there. (Yes she robbed the cradle with my dad, he's 76 years young!) (The joys of being the youngest of 4 kids in 2 marriages)...

She's also fullblooded Italian.

She sounds like an interesting person. Does she live on her own now?

I wouldn't have guessed that you were the youngest in your family, actually. My mother has six half-brothers and sisters; she's always getting them mixed up with her full siblings. How many of your siblings are half?

She doesn't live by herself anylonger. Can't be trusted after my 2 great nieces (aged 6 and 8 at the time) went after each other with the sheet rock knife and a hammer. My eldest great niece lost her eye over it :(

There were 3 half siblings total. The firstborn lived 9 months (hydrocephalitus). 1 sis and 1 bro.

Yep, I 'm the youngest. By 15 and 16 years! Joanie was 2 or 3 years older than Johnny, then Cissy.

I grew up as an only child though because of the age differences.

It must have been so strange to have siblings that much older than you. I wonder how you could even relate to them.

Yep, it was strange. I was closer to my uncle (12 years older than me) then them. They still feel line an aunt and uncle to me sometimes...
