I really thought that with all the stuff I gave up I would be having a much more relaxing school year...but it doesn't quite seem to be going that way

I just want my weekends back....I've had like 2 days off in 6 weeks, and I'm not coping all too well. plus the bombshell we just got means the customer is going to be expecting a lot more out of this than they're getting, imho, which is going to make post-delivery a bitch, and plus, after this one we supposedly have 2 weeks (mid oct) to make a linux beta for a different customer. yeah, let's make the entire app run on a different os and hope it all goes smoothly in...2 weeks. thankfully, since it's java it shouldn't be toooo hard (java is a language which was designed to be cross platform. write once, run anywhere, is the term the industry uses) but i've been working with these evil machines for quite long enough to know that there will be more than enough gotchas to deal with.

sigh. and this is supposed to be fun?
