Emmys!
Little late to the game, but was too busy yesturday! BIG WOOO HOOO, for Ms Jean Smart for her second Emmy nod for her portrayal of Martha Logan. Yes season 6 might have been a total trainwreck but Jean still managed, with what she had to bring Martha back to life....all be it in not the particular way we wanted. Lets now hope that after winning this award, which she surely will after not last year, the writers may realise that leaving the audience having no clue as to what happened to Martha, is not the way to go.
I was pretty gutted that Mary McDonnell didn't get recognitio, but it wasn't really unexpected. Sci Fi, no matter if they are actually dramas in space, never get the recognition they deserve. So maybe next year, after she has had some kick ass scenes in season 4.
So I will be rooting for our Jeannie, Sally Field( yes Im sorry Leigh I know it burns your eyes) Also Lorraine Bracco who I often feel doesnt get the props for her portrayal of Melfi in The Sopranos!
