The Purple Store is Famous
Okay, some of you have read this in other people's journals (you know who you are; thank you!) and at least one of you has harassed me about why this appeared elsewhere before I posted it.
So this means I should post more than once annually?
We've finally had some local press about The Purple Store, thanks in part to hiring some out-of-town PR talent (go figure). The Seattle P-I put us on the cover of their Lifestyle section on Monday.

It's a really nice writeup by Kristin Dizon and she caught some of the fun sides of the business.
It's really fun to have friends see what we're up to and hear from people I haven't talked to in ages. Thanks so much to everyone who's helped, told a few friends about the store, posted about it, or linked to it.
BTW, we're about to start posting a bit more often to The Purple Store's LJ (thepurplestore) if anyone wants to friend the store itself!
