OOC: In canon, Rogue runs away after her tragic first kiss, then hangs out with Mystique for awhile and works with her, then joins the X-Men. Basically she's on Magneto's team because Raven has been like a mother to her. So I'm just going to say she knows Raven and has done work for her, but doesn't realize just how many other mutants there are and stuff. She definitely doesn't know she's at a mutant academy. Anyway.
