I hate scams
If you see a classified ad in the paper that says you can make $14 an hour, and you call up and they say that you'll be working for a company named "Vector", turn around and run because it's a huge scam. You won't get paid $14 an hour, that's just your "potential." They're going to tell you about how you can make money selling knives door to door, except you have to buy the knives yourself, and from what I hear, they aren't very nice. I had an interview set up with them, but then Allison sreamed and begged me not to go, and then showed me a newspaper article about how it's a scam and how they were outlawed in Australia for doing this kinda thing. Apparantly a lot of people have lost a lot of time and money falling for this scam, don't get sucked in like I almost did. I'm still looking for a new job, but at least school is over so I can see Allison more, and that just makes me so happy! If anyone has any good ideas for a summer job, please, let me know.
