Latest movies watched that I would have no chance of watching with Sally around: Wolf Creek 2 and the Babadook.
Not much to say about Wolf Creek 2, although it was definitely very visceral (in more than one sense of the word...) and very nasty rather than scary.
The Babadook I actually really liked. It was one of the scariest movies I can recall, particularly when watched alone late at night in a dark house. Sally would never sleep properly again if she watched it. But I also liked it on the metaphorical level, particularly the ending, because it's pretty obvious that the Babadook itself is a metaphor for grief. So I thought the film actually worked well on several levels - the story itself, as a homage to low-budget B-grade horror movies of old, and as a reflection on life and loss.
