A had the distinct feeling of déjà vu as he woke. He’d been in a seemingly perpetual state of slumber and half wakefulness for (what felt like) days. He knew that Y was keeping him sedated (rather than keeping his promise of killing him), and that these moments were fleeting before he would return and drug him again. A had no idea if he was being

"This is it," he said to Matt lowly as he knocked on the door."Ya'qub, it's Alternate, open up!"
There was no opening of the door, and naturally the door was locked when he tried the handle. A frowned, Y was probably not here, if news had traveled he was dead Y would have to see for his own eyes. Yet this did not mean Amel wasn't in the room.
"Matt I don't like breaking and entering however, I recommend we go into the room," he sighed. It was a very Backup-like plan of action, but she had been right before that Amel's safety was most important.

[She pulls one out from where it's keeping hair tucked behind her ear (on hand for exactly this purpose) and drops to her knees in front of the door. Picking a lock is easy as pie at this point, especially old fashioned ones like the mansion has.]

"A? Alternate? Are you here?" he called, perhaps if Amel specifically knew they were looking for him he be more inclined to answer than he had when he had asked for Y. A didn't like to think Upsilon could be so cruel as to hold someone captive, but he was unstable and he had done worse.

"It's me A, oh I am so sorry about all of this," he said as he walked to the bedside to look into the other boy's face. He wanted to take him into his arms and never let him go ever again, he restrained himself however, because of Matt but more because he didn't know for certain what was wrong with him.

He's real.

He doubted limbo was quite this painful, though.
“Am I…did I die?” he managed to say through his gasps, trying to raise a shaky hand to touch A’s face. His gaze darted up to the doorway at the sound of a second, also familiar voice. "Matt?" Is this real? Could it possibly be?

"It's like the first time," he tried to explain. He cracked a weak smile. "You can ask Matt if she can see me too. Nevertheless, perhaps you suspect I am not real due to not only seeing my body, A, have you consumed any drugs recently?"

"Yes...ah, chloroform. Y d-drugged me. Several times. Large dosage," he mumbled, still running his fingers along A's cheek.

"A do you have any idea for how long? How many days?" Chloroform was easy enough to make if you had the right ingredients, and A knew in the Mansion Y had likely had to resort to mixing it himself. The home made kind however was even more dangerous than the medical version. Upsilon could have very easily killed Amel by misjudging on a dosage even slightly. For what possible purpose?
And I'm off to bed bbs, let's pick this up again soon. Laters. ♥

[She makes light of the situation purposefully, trying to get across to Anslem with her expression that it's imperative that they get out of here right now. This would not be a good time to have a confrontation.]

Amel was unhealthily thin already and he may have lost even more weigh during his ordeal because A was certain he wouldn't have eaten this entire time of his own accord. He had never carried the younger boy before but he had been fairly healthy when he had been killed, at this time it shouldn't be too hard for A to lift him.
"...My room isn't too far away," he stopped himself from saying 'our' room. If there was a corpse there he shove it under the bed or something.
