What character in a book can you connect with or relate to the most?

Now this has me thinking... Do you know, I haven't identified with a character for years. Empathised with, yes; been intrigued by, yes; analysed and even invented back-story for, yes. But not identified. I'm always there, sitting on the side, watching. I doubt that would surprise anyone who knows me well.
