You seem to be having a lot of fun with it so far, based on your activity. If you keep your iphone, I can tell you several apps I use, whether they're of interest to you or not. I've also found that being able to put videos and music on mine is very nice. I'm about to listen to music while I work right now!

Part of what 'bothers' me is that I don't, personally, have a real need for it; it doesn't fill a very big function in my life. I have a journal where I can post longer (and more private) thoughts, and I have other outlets (Tumblr/Twitter) where I can post silly spur-of-the-moment stuff. Most events that get planned, I hear about in real life; most events, I hear about from the actual people; most of my "Facebook friends" are actually people from high school that I don't talk to nor do I, really, care much about. And that's fine - some people love it; to each his/her own. But there's this attitude among certain people that because I have a Facebook I should be checking it regularly, and that I should be getting news from it, and how dare I not read what they posted. Even my mum, just today, was asking my questions about whether I am Facebook friends with Random Person X, and I was like -- mom I do not really use Facebook. So it -- it doesn't bother me that other people love ( ... )
