1. How long have you been writing fanfiction?
Um... I believe it was after FFVI came out, whenever that was. I definitely didn't know about fanfiction or that there was a fandom, really. We didn't have the internets!
2. What made you start writing fanfiction?
I wanted to. In fact, I wanted to crossover FFIV and FFVI.
3. Do you post any of your work?
All of it. fanfiction.net and brokenprism being the main places. Though I've abandoned ff.net, I am trying to get back.
4. What genres do you enjoy writing?
Introspective? Does that count? Sarcastic snarky humour. Romance without the romance (unusual relationships). Totally long epics with drama!!!
5. Do you handwrite things first?
Not really.
6. Do you usually finish what you started?
I promise to. I haven't yet.
7. What fandoms are your favorite to write for?
FFIV, FFVIII, FFX.
8. How can people recognize your writing?
Because I swear a lot? Um, probably for my completely unorthodox sentence structure (or lack thereof). I am a huge fan of using "," and ":" and ";" all in one sentence multiple times!
9. Have you ever had a fic advertised?
I've had my fics recced occasionally, if that's what you mean.
10. What is your most popular fic?
"Sincerity Cowboy", probably.
11. What is your favorite that you have written?
I enjoyed writing them all. The most fun pieces, however, have been the one-shots for my claims on LJ. Or "Mirrorfeather".
12. In retrospect, your least favorite?
Eeek. I'm not entirely fond of anything in retrospect. Except "Mirrorfeather". I'm actually quite proud of that one.
13. What is the longest fic you’ve written?
"Dark Knowledge". The aforementioned crossover fic. Four parts, parts 1-3 having like 23 chapters each, each chapter being (in Sev style) a bajillion words. I WAS A KID!

Stuff here on LJ.
15. Funniest?
I had this great FFIV script-fic rewrite. I lost it in the ff.net purge. If I can find it, I'll post it here, because man, I thought I was hilarious.
16. Most serious?
"Dark White", some of the "Warming Up" series, and the forecoming "blueblack".
17. Happiest Ending?
"Out of the Mist"? (Damns, that thing's old.)
18. Saddest Ending?
...I haven't ended some of them.
19. What was the fastest you’ve ever written a multichapter fic?
"Sincerity Cowboy". I was a review addict.
20. What are some clichés of your main characters?
They all become really sarcastic and snarky if I'm not careful about it.
21. Favorite character(s) to write?
Quistis. Rydia. Rinoa/Edea. Irvine. Rikku, Yuna, Lulu.
22. Least favorite character(s) to write?
Seifer and Squall (I feel like I don't do them justice). Most male characters (same reason!).
23. Do you have any claims?
I certainly do, and I'm also behind on them!
24. Do you allow people to beta your work?
I normally don't have a beta *blushes* If I need plot/planning advice, I bother people about it (see: drakonlily in the past, lassarina currently). I'm not anti-beta, I've just been getting along without one.
25. Have you ever co authored a fic?
Kind of, with my brother (the ideas were shared, although I am the only writer) on seven-beacons. Currently co-writing "How Not To Date Blondes" with rosencrantz, having a writing threesome with lassarina and katmillia on an FFIV HS AU, and plotting many more collabs with lassarina once we take over fandom. Still plotting a CSI!Turk fic with drakonlily.
26. First person, Second person, or Third person?
Mostly third. Although "Out of the Mist" was in first, IIRC.
27. Drabbles, one shots, or multichapter fics?
Mostly multichapter, until I came to LJ and discovered claims!
28. Genfic or pairing?
Write both. Read both. Prefer genfic with lots of plot and only underlying romance. Fics that revolve around pairings... bother me.
29. Het, Yaoi, or Yuri?
Mostly het. Drawn to yuri. Yaoi can be very hot interesting if done right, but rarely is.
30. Past or present tense?
Both. Currently on a present-tense kick for shorter pieces.
31. How do you find inspiration?
Usually I'm trying to quell the inspiration long enough that I can write! I have too much inspiration and not enough dedication!
32. Do you reuse lines and phrases between fics?
ALL THE BLOODY TIME. You haven't noticed? XD
33. Average chapter length?
6-10 pages in MSWord. Whatever that is. 3000-6000 words? Maybe?
34. Weak points as an author?
Laziness, uncompleted stories. Tendency to turn every single character into a sarcastic snarkfest. Fear of writing males. Occasional lack of direction.
35. And now, your strong points?
(I feel so awkward writing this!) I'd like to say mood/description/characterization. I'd also like to say plot, on longer/multichapter stories. I think I'm pretty creative.
36. Favorite part about writing?
Plotting. Character development and backstory. Plotlines and extensive notes and outlines that will never see the light of day.
37. Least favorite part about writing?
Getting stuck. Wanting feedback.
38. Things you REFUSE to do in your writing?
...Not much. I try not to be ...oh fuck it I can't think of anything.
39. Have you ever added anything into your own personal canon?
Certainly have. There's a lot of FFVII I hadn't thought of until I got dragged in with the fanfiction.7 crowd. Also, talking about anything with lassarina is dangerous. :P!
40. Anything else you’d like to share?
I LIKE COFFEE. Um. Something useful? I do most of my writing at work, which isn't ideal but is the only time I have. (SADLY.)
