pet peeve time!
You know what's annoying*? When people follow me around the parking lot after class so that they can take my parking spot. Mainly because I am a Class A Robotard and very often forget where I've parked, so I've got a Honda Element** shadowing me at 0.2mph like some bright red, retarded-looking ninja while I forlornly wander the lot trying not to yell "Goldbug" at the top of my lungs and thus get mugged by people who target Akron loonies.
I once actually had a girl roll her window down and ask where I was parked so that she could go claim it. She must have completely missed the confused look on my face and constant stream of profanity as I mashed the lock button on my keychain in hopes of hearing a feeble "beep" to point my way. Look, I know parking is bad, but for crying out loud do the lane-by-lane-drive like everyone else. Stalking me? Very much not appreciated; double-plus-un-appreciated by people who are prone to tripping over their own two feet and would rather no one saw.
Sometimes I actually debate finding my car, opening it up, pulling something out, and turning around and heading back to campus, just to piss them off. But usually by the time I get to my car I am so damn cold and ready to get in the car and drive away to Florida back to work that I just kind of throw the bright red ninjamobile a stern look and then drive away.
Stupid Akron. I want my tuition money to build a goddam parking garage***.
*I am sure someone on my F-List is going to respond "THAT IS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE PARKING LOT BEHAVIOR; HOW ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET A SPOT, YOU ROBOTARD!" to which all I have to say is don't call me a robotard. It's a pet peeve. Sorry.
