[ Naoya's voice comes on over the SFC, addressing everyone. ] Indulge my curiosity, the rest of you... I wish to know the situation of 'magic' in your world, or what you would consider it. And I don't mean the kind of stage magic where you fool an idiot and move something from one hand up your sleeve while he's distracted with your other; no, not that flashy, foolish stage work. I mean the arcane; the dangerous--fire, ice, elemental sorts of spells, demons, their abilities... anything of that nature. How frequent it is, the creature or creatures who can wield it, and how they do so... what particular methods of casting... and the effect the barrier here has had on it.
Weren't you aware the barrier here cuts powers as much as this coral does? I'm quite certain they're connected.
Furthermore, how many of you here are from the same reality? For those of you newer people, I should mention if you haven't figured this out yet, everyone here is from an alternate world or reality. Get used to it. Your logic will not apply to other 'worlds,' not in the least. That silly lawman should probably consider this, but then, that IS the problem with those who care for the law: selfishness. They refuse to conform or change ideals... a pity, really.
Well... I believe we've also quite a few here from a town named Sakurashin? If I recall, it's a district in Tokyo; I don't quite remember hearing it being home to demons... or as you say, youkai. No, more... it was 'normal' by current standards of the word. Quite curious, I believe. How many of you are there now, aside from the nurse and the other young boy? I'm interested, you could say...

He'd actually gotten something for his cousin, and was planning similar: he was going to make some kind of large meal for them; sushi. That's why Tao had smelled that fish. But he won't be telling Hiroki he set the Kaka on him after food, since... well~ He felt he deserved it for doubting him. Naoya isn't all sparkles and kindness, after all. After his initial voice post, he makes a secure video line to his cousin. ]
