no bbq....
Yesterday was long and up and down but pretty good in an overall spectrum.
I had an HIV/Hep B&C Presentation to give at White Hill with Miss Cait. I love her so much, any time I'm with her I just feel so good. She let me where her Jackie O glasses which are definitely my favorite things in the world. The presentation went well and that teacher is definitely one of the coolest public school teachers I have ever met. Afterwards she told Cait and I that we were the best presenters she'd ever had in like, thirty years of teaching! ROCK.
Afterwards we decided that Julius (Cait's beloved car) needed to restock on food. Julius has everything you could possibly need (with the exception of maybe a sink?), but hadn't been restocked on edibles for a while. At Albertsons we bought some nonparishables such as poptarts, cereal, crackers, and a bottle of Pelligrino...we have class.
I kinda chilled at home for a while feeling lonely and sad, and after talking with Amy (uncreative) and Nora (drunkenpanda)in a low-point of mine, they came over from Berkeley along with Jaime, Nora's fuck toy. We just chilled and then Lauren (oscrew) came over!!! So it was fun.
Afterward, (WHILE I SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAVING MY BBQ!) I went to Via Vai (ew) in the city to dine with my uncle, aunt, grandmother and my cousin Ben who is temporarily home from college. Luckily I brought my book, so I read about 90 pages during dinner. I used to despise Ben when I was younger, but now we are really chill. So he took me to see "Jackass: The Movie" with him which I had NO DESIRE TO SEE WHATSOEVER (omg, I felt dumber after seeing that movie) but it was just nice to be with him. He drives fast and we pumped techno music late at night. Yay.
Ohh minor detail I forgot to mention... Adam (Ben's 17 year old brother) called me yesterday. The conversation went something like this:
Adam: What are you doing tomorrow night?
Emily: I dont know, why do you ask?
Adam: Want to go to the Bridgeschool Concert with me? All my friends ditched.
Emily: Wow Adam, thanks a lot... I'VE ONLY BEEN BEGGING YOU FOR THAT TICKET FOR OVER A MONTH!
So yay, I'm going! I'm really excited to see RYAN ADAMS who Cait saw the other night and said was fabulous. He is such a god. And I'm excited to the maxxx to see the Foo Fighters...they were one of the first bands I got into! Awwww.
So now I'm leaving in an hour to take a ferry to meet Adam in the city, which is fun, but I have no idea when I'm going to do my homefront project! ::dies:: Speaking of which, I have to call Doug and renegotiate my contract! I believe I'm going to do an oral presentation cos those are easy for me to BS.
ps - Emma is seeing Aaron Cohen (my pseudo little brother who is bigger than me) in LA right now and I'm jealous to the maxxx.
