Mess

“What?” Alex winced when the door bell rang. Olivia was somewhere in heaven and therefore oblivious to the fact that Alex had stopped touching her. Alex on the other hand was instantly sober and stared at her lover writhing under her. It rang again.
This time Olivia noticed the sound. Opening her eyes, she tried to focus. Her view was foggy due to her arousal. Alex got up. Olivia missed the contact already, but that helped her clear her mind. The third time the door bell rang she took the situation in.
The two of them had been making love on the floor until Alex got distracted by whom ever was ringing for the fourth time now. They stood in their living room; clothes were scattered all around them. “Oh, freakin' shit! Look at this mess!” Alex started gathering her clothes.
Olivia just stood there ignoring the ringing bell and watching her freaked out lover. “You know, this room isn't the only mess.”, Olivia said with a chuckle. Alex looked up shoved her glasses in place raising an eyebrow. Olivia's grin grew wide. “We look awful and you're sporting a beautiful hickey.” Alex touched her neck self-consciously and started smiling.

Nibbles

Olivia send an appreciating glance at her beautiful lover. Alex blushed slightly, but being a lawyer she wouldn't give herself away. Olivia knowingly smiled and sipped her wine. Alex broke the silence first, “You know, you shouldn't send me those signals. You could end up in trouble sooner or later.”
Straightening her face she leaned back in her chair and looked casually around. This fancy restaurant wasn't her favorite place to have dinner; she preferred the burger joint. But this was a special day, they wanted to celebrate the occasion. Olivia looked uneasy. She gave Alex a reassuring smile but couldn't hide the fact that she wanted to be anywhere but at this restaurant.
Alex leaned forward to take Olivia's hand on the table. “You wanna leave, don't you?” Olivia nodded and said “Let's wait for the nibbles, eat some and then get out of here. We could stop at the burger joint,if you like, then head for home... I have a more private anniversary party in mind.” She emphasized her statement with a seductive smile and winked at her grinning lover.

Observation

Alex stood on the other side of the two-way mirror. This perp was so disgusting she couldn't even look at him. They wanted him for the rape and murder of several children between the age of two and five. They didn't have enough evidence. Yet.
Alex listened closely for anything that might open the possibility to get a search warrant. This guy's voice was irritating and the way he spoke send chills down her spine. How could Liv endure that so often? If Alex didn't knew it any better she would have guessed that Liv had a thick skin, but she had anything but. Olivia was fragile. The victims haunted her and every perp that got away added to her torment.
That's when Alex's job came in and gave her the opportunity to make it right; to put them behind bars for as long as possible. Alex's attention was yet again on the conversation. Elliot and Liv tensed simultaneously, but as fast as it had appeared the tension disappeared and they had their usual masks on once again.
Alex allowed herself to smile. The two detectives were like dogs. Once they got wind of something, they wouldn't let go. And it seems that this scum had just made a mistake. Alex got her cell out of her pocket.
