A cursebreaker for hire

Sep 23, 2004 16:04

Bill sat quietly by the fireplace looking over some of his notes when an grey owl arrives delivering a post.

He opens the message and he jerks back in surprise. This was unexpected.

Dear Mr. William Weasley,

Let me not mince words, it has been years since our families have had any sort of contact. We travel in different circles, yet we are still related, third cousins on your mother's side.

The reason I have been forced to communicate with you, is that we require the services of a curse breaker. My daughter, Pansy, has fallen gravely ill. Our doctors have tried everything but to no avail. We believe she may be under a curse. If this is the case we want it broken. Your services of course will be paid for. I am sure you are in need of funds.

Present yourself tomorrow morning at Parkinson House Manor. My wife and I will await you there.

Mr. Parkinson

The gall of the man.

Bill was tempted to just throw away the note but he had heard rumours about this girl, a Slytherin student in Ron's year who had fallen into a coma mid summer. It really wasn't the girl faults her parents were gits.

Mr. Parkinson,

It is always a pleasure to hear from Death Eaters distant relatives. I would be happy to meet with you and discuss your daughter's condition.

Regards,

Bill Weasley

Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
