Amused
I keyed in 'Feminism' as a search in lj's interests search engine, and was a little amused by what I found. After scrolling through the sex sites, I found the 'antifeminism' site.
There were times when the people on the site made sense, and other times that just made me laugh. The 'feminazi' and antifeminist arguments for example.
The fact that I consider myself a feminist has nothing to do with what I found amusing. The thing that really makes me laugh is that all of the people on that site who claim to hate feminists are, in fact, feminist. They favor the equality of the sexes in almost all regards.
I don't hate men. I'm dating one, in fact- hating him wouldn't make much sense. I'm not a lesbian. I shave my legs whenever the hell I feel like it ( a few days ago, in fact). I expect men to hold a door if I'm entering, and in return I expect men to go through a door I hold open. Equal oppourtunity. Plain and simple.
the best is when someone is accused of bashing others when they actually point out facts. And the random insults in the middle of actual intellegent sounding conversations by people who sound as though they are thirteen.
I hate stupid people. But I love stupid people who make a point of sounding stupid. It makes my night.
