Thinking "oh hey, I can watch all three "Lord of the Rings" movies back to back on DVD while the kid is at school, no problem" was probably ONE OF THE DUMBEST THINGS I'VE EVER THOUGHT.
Especially considering they're the SUPER DUPER EXTENDED editions. I'm pretty sure my brain fell out at some point. I finally got to the point where it was "HOBBITS, BORING" *fast-forward* "WOOHOO ARAGORN... HOBBITS, BORING" *fast-forward* rinse and repeat.
