Cosplay test GACC
YAY, I finally got everything in time for GACC tomorrow!
My cardboard guitar:
^ Almost RM100 in materials and about 3 weeks worth of work. D8
I still haven't figured out how to attach a strap, even though my friend gave me one. It seems to be a trade secret or something among cosplayers.
And my wig:
Here is the epic story of my wig.
kyoxion sent it out from Penang on Monday, using registered post. He said it would get here by about Wednesday. I waited, Thursday rolled by and still no wig. I waited until today,
I got the reference number from him and checked the status with the Pos Malaysia hotline. They said the postman "tried" to deliver it on Thursday but I DID NOT hear my doorbell ring nor did I get the notice in my mailbox. I think the postman didn't even bother to put a notice in because both my parents' cars were out so he assumed that nobody was in anyway.
So I rushed over to the Kelana Jaya post office because that's where they said the parcel was. Reaching there, we were told that it had been sent on to the Kg Tunku post office. My dad was steamed, but we hurried over there before the 4.30pm closing time.
And THEN I finally got to hold it in my hand. ORZ
PHEW.
And this wig is quite small so I really needed to stretch it to make it look natural. I think that's what my bad luck with my previous wigs was: not stretching it enough.
And now I'm going to sleep.
