In which the Universe apparently hates me
So, I've finally wrangled out the wig and the whole getup for my Lucrecia cosplay but lo, and behold: my mum booked the wrong date for me to fly home for Christmas. Which would just be a day AFTER CF ends, 16 Dec.
Sigh, if I can't change the date tomorrow with the travel agent, I might not even come home for Christmas. Gehh...
*Stabs self in eye.*
Probably only get to use the costume for photoshoots unless by the time I get back in July next year there miraculously is... a con! 8D
Knowing my luck, there probably won't be. Gehhh... And I don't really want to lug my whole costume to Dublin for the con in Belfast in June. Transporting a wig that length would be hell XP
On the bright side (actually not really either): we just might have a Balthier for this year's CF! ♥ The only thing that sucks is that I'll only get to see him in pictures XP
Argh, on a more optimistic note, I am working on the requests for the sketch meme form my DA journal. And I just happen to have fallen in love with the FFXII concept art style of shading. Backlighting for the WIN! The only bad thing is it makes everyone look sunburned XP Plus I can only do it with really tiny pictures. Someday, I shall draw BIG!
