Wanderer returns
It's been a long time (58 weeks apparently) since I posted on LJ.
I've missed it as a place to chronicle, well, stuff so I'm back. It's really just for me but if any of the old crowd are around and reading this..... Hi! *waves*
This first post is going to have to be bullet points.
- Commuting to work continues to kill me, hence the lack of LJ time and no cinema for about 3 months.
- Still loving my TV programmes especially Supernatural, True Blood, Chuck, Bones, Castle & Dollhouse. Lots of Whedonites (past & present). Just discovered Moonlight - yep, a dead show that I love. Alex O'Loughlin is on the hottie watch list!
- Conventions continue. BSG/Firefly in November & Supernatural next year. I'm also considering the SFX Weekender event.
- My Nintendo DS is my constant companion. Just waiting for the new Prof Layton game to be released.
- Reading lots - currently a very entertaining book of letters between Deborah Devonshire and a SOE hero from WWII. Rarefied existences involving much travel but fascinating. Lady Devonshire was at JFK's inauguration ceremony for goodness sake!
On the sporting front: Football team - going well
Cricket team - not doing well
F1 is completely absorbing. Crappy teams doing well, different winner every week. Brilliant and long may it continue.
Usain Bolt is an insane god. No-one should be able to do what he does...
On the bad front - not writing at all.
