(no subject)
Everything is ruined.. everything i own is currently sitting in two or three inches of water. The carpeting is floating. my computer shut off in the middle of the night. it's all ruined. all of it.
i don't know what to do.
edit: The computer might be fixable. will have to let it dry and try to find out. and on further thought, everything isn't necessarily ruined.. it's all just.. Soaked. Argh.
edit: the computer seems like it's alright, but until it's given a few days to dry out completely, I won't know. the surge protector might've kicked over before the water hit the computer, and things might be alright. In any case, yeah. a couple days, at least, for that. Apparently the flooding was also caused by the drainage pipe not just being covered over, but apparently -clogged.- argh. i need to sort this mess out. It's gonna be a long weekend.
