Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get in contact with Painesville Municipal on Friday, due to a combination of job hunting, lack of sleep, and overall general happenstance. Couldn't do it yesterday, as most of the time was taken up by general yardwork and cleaning.

And fire. A small firepit hastily constructed in the back yard.

And the fire department. Though that wasn't so bad--They just had us put it out. But it was still fun.

In any case, they were likely closed yesterday anyway, and probably so today, like most government agencies. Considering there's rain slated for Monday, and Jason likely isn't going to be heading into work, I can probably get a call out sometime around then, as well as get various job hunting down further--Mainly in turning in applications.

I would try to get that done today, but Jason'll likely be workin' on the Volkswagen most of the day, and as a result, no ride is likely. Which is fine, I'll just deal. Maybe play some C&C3 or something.

Jason's friend Zack might be checking into some other information for me, today--Like any potentiality that I might be able to have a court date here in Dayton, rather than Painesville. Because, let's face it. Painesville is a long-as-fuck drive away, and would take the better portion of a day for me to even go up there. And when there's still a potentiality that they could deny the application for expungement (on the grounds that they might not think I'm rehabilitated sufficiently), it could wind up a waste entirely anyway.

Though I've put thought into how I'd word it, if put before a judge for a ruling in that sort of thing, and I think I'd be alright.. It's just a lot of ifs in the air, and maybes, and the like.

There's still a lot of stuff flying around in the air right now, and a lot of it kinda sitting on a timeline. Nothing I'm terribly worried about actually being done and accomplished--It's just a matter that they're mostly time-critical, and sooner is better than later.

Anyway. Just a quick update before I go and hopefully crash. Or read a little, then crash. Something. I'm out.

EDIT:

Final note. Also had a slight modicum of faith in humanity restored, yesterday. Someone gave Jason two dollars to get some minor purchases done at Save-A-Lot, 'cause his card was giving him trouble. While it's a fairly minor thing, so far as acts of goodwill go, the woman's vibe was sincere and nice, and she was helpful with no real need to be. That kind of thing is rare enough in today's society that it brings a measure of comfort that my faith in humanity isn't completely misplaced. Excellent.
