Someone made a comment (in a locked post, so no link) that the writers will win the strike because the content we're getting is declining, especially things like Leno, which is also getting extremely out-of-date rather quickly and thus is funny in the wrong way.
But I say it's only the tip of the iceberg. Have you seen the promos for the new reality shows in January? Gaaaah! Ray Bradbury was right! I'm going to pack up all my books and go live in a cave where no-one will ever find me. Ever. Except perhaps miladygrey and Yeats, and cubreader and alabama_e, when they need rescuing from going insane. With that many books, we're going to need a big cave.
