Ok, I have to say something, and since I can't yell at customers or just scream in frustration at work I'll rant here. I have two huge pet peves when I'm on register. 1. When people walk up to cash out and they keep talking on their cell phone. It's like hey, take two seconds tell whoever it is that your checking out, communicate with me, say farewell and then continue on your way. Now typically on 3rd this isn't so much of an issue, unless there is some sort of drunk drama. However, first seems to be full of soccer moms, or drugged out bitches (drastic clientel difference huh?) that yell on their cell phones and completely ignore me while cashing out. Excuse me for asking it you're paying with debit or credit, don't take my head of ok? 2. Treating me like the slime on the bottom of your shoe. Never come into my store, walk up to my register and immediately believe that because I'm working and giving you your food you are better than me. Again this is more common on first shift, but damn. I even had this hooker looking girl cash out at lunch today, on her cell phone, looks at me like dirt when I ask if it is credit or debit. I am a human being just like you. Makeing an honorable pay check and trying to make my way through life.
Seriously, treat people with respect. Get off your cell phones, or put the call on hold when you get to the register. Don't treat people like Wawa personell like trash. We're not. It's just rude and aggrivating.
